Wow, this episode’s been a long time coming–well, not really at all, actually. That was just the best opening I had. You see, GinRei has pushed posting this one on me as well, so here I am. This one involves Eri, and Kogorou, and Eri, and Kogorou and is not an anime original. Judging by the reaction to the last one, I suppose we should all be thankful. Expect the HD release shortly (HD now released!), along with the ConanTV stream of the episode when it’s ready.

Speaking of which, in case you missed it: The test site for ConanTV is live, which you can read more about here. We should have some pretty big updates on that front soon, so hang in there. Until then, enjoy this episode and feel free to discuss it here on the forums.

One other thing to add that’s been brought to my attention (in order to bulk up this pretty short post): We’ve recently passed the 200 mark for anime releases at DCTP. Thanks to everyone who has supported the group over the years!

The test site for ConanTV (the long-in-development replacement for DCTV) is now live and available for your use. This preview site is a simple demonstration of what will be powering ConanTV and is mostly a server test. You can visit the site by clicking here.

For those unaware: Basically, the idea behind ConanTV is to make available streams of all of the English-subbed Detective Conan episodes, movies, and OVAs in the highest possible quality sanctioned by the groups that made it possible to begin with. So far, A-Conan, AZFS, Kienai, Kaizou, KnKF, Neg, HnI, Atavus–along with some of the solo efforts, like GinRei and Knightus–and, of course, DCTP are involved.

Beyond that, we’ll do our best to replicate the experience of DCTV that made it so fun (or insane, by some standards) and implement as many of its features as possible. We have also been working on a database of the episodes so that ConanTV can be a database not just for the fansubs but for the content of the episodes as well.

New episode. New AO. New ending theme. That’s a recipe for success if I’ve ever heard one. That has never once gone wrong in the history of the series, and certainly not recently (seriously!).

Due to GinRei having other matters to attend to, I’m filling in to post about this release. Usually when I do the odd update every now and again I come up with at least some sort of long post, but not so here. Actually just don’t have anything much to say, other than the planning for Movie 14 International Edition is underway and you can read more about it here on the forums. We’ve had tremendous interest from the community yet again and we could likely use your help as well!

Oh, and speaking of the forums, you can discuss this release there too. Expect the HD version in the morning.
