GinRei suggested we have a bigger post since movie releases are a bit of a big deal, so here comes the second string to help facilitate that.
I remember just a few years ago when Movie 10 hit theaters and a fifteenth movie seemed eons away. That time has absolutely flown by and now we’re just one away. Before we know it, there will be twenty Detective Conan movies. Then again — I remember when episode 400 aired and 500 seemed forever away, and now 600 is coming up in a few months. I’ve been around the Conan scene for over five years (or was it six?) and have helped on hundreds and hundreds of projects, but none was as smooth as was this one.
All of the other movies to date have been pretty taxing projects considering just how many people they usually require. There are usually in excess of a dozen people that manage to somehow pull together all of their jobs into one really spectacular final result. As this movie will evidence, the team really runs on all cylinders when everyone gets involved, and yet again for this year we had some of the older members come back to offer their skills one more time. Whether it’ll be the last for any of them is a big question, but it would be a shame considered how wonderful of a job they have all done. I, for one, am very proud of everyone’s efforts on this movie and think it’s very, very easily one of the best DCTP releases to date. To me, there are no better people for the job. Whether you agree with that or not, I can at least tell you one thing: No one cares more about seeing Conan done and done well more than the people that are still working on it today, all these years later. They deserve your utmost support for the work they do, so please leave a thanks for all of them!
I don’t really have much more to say than that, but I am very confident everyone is going to really love this release. Still, our work on Movie 14 doesn’t end here! We’re still working on an International Edition of this movie that will, as of this writing, include over twenty languages. That’s quite a bit more than we had for Movie 12 but if everyone pulls together, we can make it happen.
In addition, the movie is available on the ConanTV Test Site in amazing quality. Keep an eye on it if that’s your thing. We’ll have more information on the proper launch of ConanTV in the future, but for now, keep supporting it! There’s also a DCTP Twitter account set up now, as you may have seen on both the anime & manga sites.

Annnd here is the close to the Eri case. It’s hard to believe so much time has passed, but not only did the group recently pass 200 Conan releases, we’re now upon DCTP having released the weekly episodes consistently for 100 airings. That really is a lot of Conan. In fact, just how many of you reading this have been here since that time? Feel free to mention it here on the forums, and discuss the release while you’re at it.
