Hey, look at that–this is something of a miniature Big Release Day we have going on. Due to exams and other commitments bearing down on us these last few weeks, we’ve been releasing episodes a little later than usual. With summer starting up, that should no longer be a problem. We have a big summer planned for everyone, including something quite… big… coming very soon if all works out well. Regardless, keep checking in with us over your break (if you have one) and you are unlikely to be disappointed!

Episode 613 is also the first episode to feature the new opening theme by B’z, so be sure to check that out. We recently began to use our YouTube channel again, which may have some content you’re interested in as well. You’ll be hearing much more from us soon, hang in there!

A New Crossover!?

We first used the DCTP YouTube channel back before Movie 12′s release. We only ever used it once, which was for the Movie 12 trailer. We will be putting it back to use now and periodically in the future. Its first use post-revival is… Detective Conan vs. Wooo!?

The first episode of Detective Conan vs. Wooo premiered online recently and is, essentially, a web-only short advertising the Wooo line of televisions in Japan. By some force of marketing genius, the Conan anime team was coerced into animating this tie-in that brings together the world of corporate greed and that of APTX4869.

This was a fun mini-project for us to throw together and we hope you enjoy it. We’ll be posting other random Conan tidbits on the YouTube channel as time goes on. We can’t wait for the second installment to hit the interwebs so that we may bring it to you as well. Do try to contain your excitement!
